That wasn’t a Volvo demonstration. It was at a dealership and I believe the driver was a customer on a test drive. It also lacked the pedestrian detection option, which either the operator or salesman thought it had, so they accelerated into the person thinking it would stop when it wouldn’t.

This is allowing you to buy items through Google Express with your voice. Why the negatives tone at the beginning of the article and from some commenters? It’s not like it’s serving you ads, it’s responding to a specific request.
Google Assistant will allow you to grab information using Lens in real-time. Of course this could be Android only - not sure if it works on the iOS Assistant yet.
It does have good functionalities, but it’s geared only to find things that are already pictures, opposing to what you wish, such as scanning & extracting info (getting stuff from things that are still not pictures AND into the Googleverse)

Ahh, I didn’t see that one. Although more than half of the article is saying to stay away from them because the author feels that a) there’s better options, b) accessory availability is scarcer, and c) resale is lower. Also he was quite hilariously taken to task for his article by a commenter.
