Sounds like the same kind of fun banter or back-and-forth I’d have with my friends, without anyone being a jerk and everyone in on the joke. Whole lot of nothing being played for minimal chuckles and clicks.

The article says the Indiana Supreme Court said it was cool to take one off and discard it. I live in Indiana. So no, it would be fine if I slapped that bitch on a semi trailer.  Would it piss off the cops?  Sure.  But if you are to the point the cops are putting trackers on your car, you have already pissed them…

It would actually seem the device fell off while I was driving and stuck to that semi, so no malicious intent. Also, can you please leave a copy of the warrant to attach the device to my car for my lawyer to review.

If they’re fucking around with your shit they’re already harassing you a lot. Also, the supreme court has already ruled on a similar case, so precedent dictates that you can do whatever the fuck you want.

I couldn’t give less of a shit what the law says. If I find a device on my car, and I don’t know what it is, and don’t know where it came from, and don’t want it on my car, I’m removing it and throwing it in the trash.

Sounds like the court disagreed with that reasoning, but they might make the case that *you* are illegally tracking someone else by attaching the tracker to someone else’s car.

If they’re already harassing you a lot like in this case?

I would’ve slapped it to the bottom of an Amazon delivery truck  or even better yet a semi that was from out of state. 

I’m seeing XSX as the general abbreviation, which implies that the Series S will get far less attention from the media and general public.
