If you backup your current hard drive then once you install the new higher-capacity drive you can restore from the backup by connecting the backup via USB and P.T. should transfer without ever losing the file. I upgraded from a 500GB drive to a 2TB one and I still have P.T., it transferred just fine.

Do you have a Windows computer and used Outlook? If so, then that is how this happens. Outlook downloads the emails in your inbox/sent/drafts/etc folders and they remain there unless the user deletes that account or syncs the app to the server if it’s not set to sync on its own.
