I played FFX all the way through when it was first released on the PS2 and thought it was so incoherent with its storytelling that I just treated it like a TYBO game (TYBO = Turn Your Brain Off) and enjoyed the great gameplay and amazing cutscenes. Story-wise, FFX doesn’t even register in my favorites list from the FF…
