You should give it a try, it’s really a very polished - and beautiful - game. Granted be prepared to invest a lot of time in it, it’s a huge with an equally huge menu system. Lost of stuff going on. lol

Same here, I recently took a break from it because of how little time I had to invest in it. Normally I wouldn’t mind because FFXIV is very accommodating in that you can pretty much solo to the entire game but what got me was the ridiculous grinding.

You’re absolutely right, you do not need PS+ to play the game but still have to pay the monthly subscription.
