lol. just lol. I just saw the Lambo the other day on the L.I.E. headed back towards the city when driving with my mom for xmas shopping. Her first thought was "Is that Charlie Sheen?", then "Oh God, I hope that's a wrap for the car and he didn't paint it like that."

No. Today is not the day to have a serious discussion about gun control. People are in shock and saddened and EMOTIONAL. There's no way that a rational, reasonable discourse on gun control can happen when that's the mental state of the general public.

Heated cloth seats? Every Jetta and Golf I've sat my ass in for the last 10 years has had them...

The streets and highways of NYC are a completely different animal. I personally think that ANY unibody design is a horribly bad idea for a NYC cab simply from the awkward angles thrust on the car thousands of times a day. Many of the bumps and potholes exceed a normal vehicle's suspension travel. There have been many

Ha! I came here to post about my '88 Turbo Coupe. It got broken into a few times, by the end there was no radio, the trunk had no lock, and the door locks were just for show.

Yeah. The Exynos 5 series are based on A15. From Wikipedia: "It features a dual-core Samsung Exynos 5250 system on chip, a 1.7 GHz Cortex A15 dual-core central processing unit and an ARM Mali T604 graphics processing unit."

The Nexus 10 doesn't use a Tegra 3. It uses a dual core Cortex A15 #corrections

The car looks good. It's nice to see some different identities for each manufacturer coming back. However, the name on the windshield? Ugh, it just looks goofy.

Fine. It certainly fell flat and got the zero it deserved.

I did. My point was that it's poorly worded. "I wonder how the Dodge team will do next year" implies that there will actually be a Dodge team in NASCAR.

Now playing

uh...no Dodge in NASCAR next year at all...

I reference the Vicky Mendoza line all the time.

The only time I've ever had luggage issues it was with Delta. On my NY>ATL>New Orleans trip it got left behind in ATL. Coming back from Europe the bag got caught in a sorting machine and it arrived with brown packing tape holding it together. Any other airline I've flown (SW, JetBlue, AA, Air France, BA) has never had

Holding the screen that close to my face for more than a few second would make me want to rip my eyeballs out. Very uncomfortable.

I love how through all of that, he just seems more pissed that his suit might be dirty than anything else. Epitome of bad ass.

When I was in grade school in NY, election day was always a day off, since the schools are used as polling places. As far as I know it continues today, with this year being an exception as the schools are trying to make up for the lost week from Snor'EasterCaneSuperStorm Sandy.

In my 20+ years of living on Long Island, I've only had to deal with 2 hurricanes, Irene and now Sandy. And Irene turned out to be well overblown by the media. We'll see how Sandy turns out. I'd say that's a pretty good record.

I'm borrowing this from someone who posted it on Facebook. Take empty soda bottles, fill 3/4 with water and freeze before the storm hits. When the power goes out, move them to the fridge and it'll help keep the fridge colder longer.

Good idea - it's saved me a few screen replacements and the hassle of climbing through a window. But always hide it in the backyard - you don't want the random neighbor or passerby to see you pulling it out from it's hiding spot.

As douchetastic as the student is being, he's got a point. If the campus cop really was going too fast (as corroborated by the other voices/witnesses) and almost hit the kid, then he should apologize. Simple, common courtesy. He's driving/riding the faster vehicle, so the responsibility for being more careful is on
