I honestly feel a little sorry for my kid. Both parents race, grandpa on one side raced and grandma on the other er, “informally” raced, among many other racing relatives. She already gets hauled to SCCA meetings and grandpa was asking whether she wanted a battery powered kid Corvette or Camaro before she was born.

I could totally see my kid doing that. She LOVES being tossed and spun around and has basically no fear of anything. You’d find her in the ditch squealing and giggling.

Bringing water is most likely unnecessary, haha. You know we at least do have water coolers and bottled water in the fridge just like many offices. Usually car dealers have coffee too, contrary to popular belief, most people working there are civilized humans and therefore require caffeine. At the family lot we have

Man In The High Castle is also very good.

As a big geography nerd, I like the idea of the show tourning around and seeing different places. I absolutely loved the bits on local car culture, the guy who built his own car and the spinning bit. Frankly, I was wondering why we haven’t imported this event yet, just possibly without the burning tires. Tire smoke

Might be fine for a Jeep, barely counts as a flex, haha. Thankfully none of my friends or family do that, but we’re all car people

Sadly, I didn’t try that one!

I don’t care what direction the car is pointing, but it does piss me off when neighbors park well onto the sidewalk.

I’ve driven a pretty reasonable variety of cars, partly because I’m an enthusiast and partly because my in-laws own a used dealership. My husband buys some of the cars at auctions which was the case for the 500e and the 750iL so occasionally I get the phone call of “honey, guess what you’ve gotta come try...”

I would say that’s a very good way to put it. It just does what you ask it to do, it doesn’t feel like anything is over its head or beneath it. You need to putter around, ok, you need to move with haste, no problem.

I haven’t driven a Tesla, but I have driven other purely electric cars and I would say yes and no. I was just driving on regular city streets so I wasn’t really thrashing the BMW or the electrics (500e and iMiev, also have driven a Volt but that’s technically a hybrid) but they are kinda different. The electrics just

When I said “schnell” it schnelled, no questions asked. It’s a weird sensation kinda, you put your foot down and you just go. Not even a hint of hesitation, no drama, no nuthin.

I took a 750iL around the block once. Literally did it just to say I had driven a v12. I have driven a v12, there, I said it.

Y’know, everybody likes to think tiny cars are like karts at autocross. They just aren’t. It’s more like racing a barstool.

If you’re standing around in heels smiling and answering questions, you’re not driving the car. You don’t need to know how to drive the car, you just need to have product knowledge. Personally, I have that knowledge, but I don’t look good standing around in heels.

As someone extremely familiar with a short wheelbase car, this sounds like it could be a mess actually. Here’s the thing, squares don’t like to spin, but when they do, you’re instantly gone. You’re not saving that spin, just accept the consequences of your life choices. In a front-front layout, the car doesn’t really

No, his name is actually Sex Dwarf.

Can I be one of those girls for Fiat? I already have the product knowledge and I need a new pair of heels.

Alas no and in any case he ditched it after growing tired of living in fear of things breaking.

Please don’t look at my tires right now, they were heavily abused all summer. Don’t look at the decals either, they’re exactly at cone height so they take a few scuffs.
