The CLA and the GLA have proven to be pretty damn reliable, parts aren’t that expensive, and the AMG motor in this is not only bulletproof, but goes like stink. 0-60 in the low mid to low 4's, handles really well, decent real world gas mileage, and decently comfortable for $30k? Sign me up.

This is the single most terrifying thing that a post-WWII society has come up with.

This question is my trigger. “The difference between AWD and 4WD” is fundamentally flawed; There is no difference. There is only 4wd and different operational methods. This either or system defined by haves and do not haves always has exceptions and often misses the heart of the issue.

I feel smarter for reading this. And dumber because I’m the same species as these people who believe in DEWs and Chemtrails. Seriously you don’t think we would see an airplane shooting lasers above the forest of paradise in California....

What the world needs now is a new Borderlands

Pressing the clutch pedal in with your left foot, while simultaneously moving a gear lever with your right/left hand is the only description of a manual transmission that I will accept.

Can your transmission operate without human intervention?

If it shifts for you, it’s an automatic.  That’s it.  The mechanism by which that happens is secondary to the definition.

You would have to lower that age bracket a bit. I’m 55, and I was into cars at an early age, so I remember Yenko from around 1968.

Actually it’s definitely in like with my “never be ashamed of your opinions” motto

You should probably go see a doctor if your butt is really that hurt.

I refuse to take any car with “stages” seriously, and that’s a lot of money for an old M3.

And on these cars a worthy powerplant and transmission are a waste unless you go through the expense of adding subframe connectors as well to keep it from twisting itself in half on a hard launch. The t-top versions of these cars had a lot of body flex, so I can only assume that the convertible version has all of the

The Youabian Puma laughs at your Fiat.

The guy had no automobile. He happened to be the one to help because he was on foot on his way to work. Maybe Offset took that into consideration and got the dude something that would have a light tax bill, low insurance premiums, and be easily repairable in the garage with cheap, readily available parts.

Old Benz are definitely tanks, but Asian car drivers will consider MAFs, crank sensors, and valve cover gaskets as ‘unreliable vehicle items’ as opposed to us, who refer to these things as maintenance items. I’ve had my father tell me my E46 was a lemon after the valve cover gaskets started leaking for the first time

Toyota’s could once accelerate on their own, so their early adoption of autonomy wasn’t exactly a success. I’d stay away from those model years (j/k). On the real end, Toyotas did have sludge and oil burning issues. Dad once bought a used 2000 Lexus RX300 and it burned more oil in a day than an RX7 in a month, and

That is correct. BMWs ‘lifetime’ fluid changes are BULLSHIT. I’ve never had any of the issues most folks complain about on the forums *touch wood* and part of the reason is that I change my oil with LiquiMoli Oil (you don’t have to) religiously at ~5K miles (lots of highway driving). This isn’t limited to engine oil,
