Getting your interior redone is not more important than replacing fubared mechanical components. Pics inside.
And that’s wonderful! So I’m going to offer up some advice to those just starting out or interested in getting into it.
This is to keep the engine from falling out when removing the subframe. The brackets that actually attach to the engine are special tools specifically for this engine family (m176, m177, m178). In this case, the engine was the only major component still in the vehicle, but you’ve seen pictures of that already in my…
And some others (but they’re not really worth mentioning) at the sabroso beer and taco festival. A good time was had. It was 90 degrees. But these three bands all sounded great and put on great shows.
2 up. The monster was awesome. Summitted a small mountain to catch the sunrise from the top. 5.5 mile hike round trip. Had to get up at 4am. Worth it.
Just need to transfer parts to the new oil pan, clean everything, and reassemble! More pics and info/story this time, continuation from my post the other day. Less cryptic this time!

Learn me about these fancy Toyota things! Specifically 93 ES300
Just saw these guys. I liked them well enough before, but I like them much more now.

Complete electric motor drive unit from a 453.

Who’s going? I’m going! Anyone else?
Hit and run. Fucking asshole. We were never close, but still, pre school all the way to senior year we went to the same school. Our graduating class had 60 people. Small town midwest life. Fucked up. If any of you know anything please let the authorities know.
They brought my, 7 others, and our gear to Mt. St. Helens so that we could climb it and then snowboard down. Notice the smoke in the crater. Warning: lots of pics!
Sounds considerably less impressive than a 90's Silverado with rusty exhaust. Interior feels marginally nicer than a CLA, but nowhere near as nice as a C-class. Seats are adequate, I guess. I like the blue calipers.
Rico seems to be settling in well
This little guy jumped in my car the other day and said he wanted to live with me. So I let him. By jumped in my car I mean I went to a shelter, signed some papers, handed over some money, and put him in a carrier. He’s still nervous but super friendly.
