Are we lining up black male comedians that “antagonized” black women for a slap in the face? ‘Cause we’re gonna need a shovel...
Starred now and forever...
“Toxic masculinity is hurting us.”

Ok, so is that all there’s needed to survive a bit from a zombie - sew up and penicillin? It seems to make Ellie... less vital? I mean, sure if her blood can create a vaccine, by all means do it. But it takes is sewing up and penicillin then it makes it seem as if the availability of a needle and thread and a basic…
And I like how they fit in the demagogue with a cult/cannibal thing all in one episode. That’s the thing that got tiresome for me with TWD - the season-long baddie cult. This episode showed it can be just as effective in one episode. Just great.

Sidenote: Rhys has the widest gap between actual speaking UK voice and character voice I’ve ever heard. Based on his recent interview on Seth Meyers, he can go from Jeeves-and-Wooster to hard-boiled LA lawyer in seconds. Just amazing.
Of course he is. “Woke” is the new “urban.” He doesn’t want African American history taught unless it’s white-approved African American history.
Just a side note on Hasan... I generally find him entertaining and liked his Patriot Acts show on Netflix but this week has not been his best to me. Liking the show as well, but I’ve been restraining myself from getting into arguments with friends who either work in therapy or have had it and their quibbles with “that’s not how it works” or “that would never happen...” as if they’re looking for realism in this show. But they LOVE Ted Lasso, a sitcom where an NFL…
Lore’l, who hosts a syndicated radio show and two podcasts, tried to use her connection to Jordan from middle school (yes, literally middle school) to open up a conversation,
I don’t know, I though the “I have absolutely nothing for sale” line pretty funny.
The scaled-down (read: cheap-looking) version for the series operates similarly: insert cast member or guest star in historical event, then parody TV show or internet phenomenon
We’ve restricted ourselves to not working on anything else while Cunk is on. The jokes fly that damn fast and all of them gems. Don’t know why but the line “...like the mummies of Scooby Doo fame...” had me giggling for days afterwards.
Sidenote: Why do his eyes look like someone cut them out of a magazine from another person and pasted them on his face?
