Uhuh? Imposing a no fly zone requires people. You need pilots, aircraft maintenance people, radar operators, intelligence gathering, etc. All that can be done from bases in Iraq, Turkey, Bahrain, as well as aboard naval vessels.

You realize we have aircraft that can fly patrols hundreds of miles from their land bases right? A no-fly zone simply means any aircraft that you send up will get shot down. We can declare a no fly zone over Cuba within an hour for example and never have to send a single person to Cuba.

If they invited everyone, it would be an exclusive party now would it? Take solace in the fact that your sadness is making other people feel better about themselves.
