Considering his only comics appearance is a Flashpoint issue he's dead and being impersonated by the Martian Manhunter through all of it, who knows?

So you're saying Savitar is Sara Diggle, then?
Thawne needs to pop up at least once a season just to make trouble.
I feel as if they wasted Abra here, since he could easily be a big bad in his own right.
I'm still amazed he had the best character arc.
Works for vampires.
I'll note that this is exactly what Joy did in the comics. She ended up changing her mind.
I halfway agree… Comics -Ward is closer to show-Ward at the beginning than he EVER is to comics -Harold
Nah, Ward existed in comics too… Just as HAROLD 's brother. He actually outlived Danny there by a decade.
Exactly.
I mean Non 's crazy plan. Anything else was decades ago.
It's honestly not as bad as people remember, since his response to Shayera asking for space is to give it to her, and, when he discovers the truth, he shrugs his shoulders and keeps on being Hawkman, but it's still ridiculous.
Eh, either way. This sure as heck isn't comics Ward
How the first bit of the comic went
End episode one with him as Ward 's partner
Claire 's last speech to Danny and Colleen sets up how much of their relationship is a hideously bad idea, so that may well end.
Also it hides the whole scholarship bit, since her students are up for a scholarship WITH BAKUTO
Honestly, you could end the show here and we'd be fine. I'll note that Harold's speech to his kids is essentially Davos ' speech to Ward in the comics when he dumped him for Joy as his partner.
I suppose that comics -Krypton being a cold, xenophobic hellpit where Non and company are moderates influences my thinking. (In retrospect, Mon -El really should have been Dev -Em…)
It's his real name even back to the Silver Age
