That's literally what it is, though. :)

Me too.
That isn't actively Hawkman
Keep in mind that the Kryptonians were trying to commit genocide about six months ago.
I think that was a silver age Superman cover…
J'onn is at least someone he has comics -history with.
I completely disagree 100% with the central point of this review. I quite enjoy the screentime and development that this show has given Mon-El , who has essentially been "discount Superman" for decades.
So is Ward, unfortunately… and he's better at it! Which is why I cracked UP when he asked Danny in a little boy voice to run the company with him in the last episode.
Comicswise, Davos partnered with Ward until he decided Ward was too soft .
In fairness, we'd have lost Ward there, an actual good change.
It was a long trip back from China. :)
Danny bought it, this causing it to lose 90% of its value instantly.
It makes the Black Dragon from the comics hilarious.
Which is both easy to overlook or misinterpret at the time, and is good foreshadowing.
Yeah… I caught and liked that too.
In fairness, Davos predates Game of Thrones by almost thirty years… and he's the one universal constant of EVERY Iron Fist run.
Depends if you count Madame Gao…
I'd like that. Orson had some ADVENTURES.
Comicswise, both Davos AND Joy are left in the exact spot they are in at the end of the first appearance of Iron Fist, which I really did like.
In fairness, they play that plot better than you'd think.
