I took that as "while it's open"

He's the show 's comic relief right up until he murders Harold.
This is one of my favorite episodes of the run, as the twist puts everything Colleen Wing says or does in a different light, hints that the reason Danny doesn't have the costume is that he ran almost immediately after encountering Shao Lao, and the footage of Orson Randall laying waste was just awesome.
Orson Randall is ridiculously awesome… Fought in WWI too.
Yeah, I kinda liked that little bit for that reason.
The fact that it in no way works amused me.
I kinda hope it is. Slowly realizing show -Danny is just karate Gob Bluth has amused me endlessly.
Keep in mind, Danny won by hugging the Dragon long enough. :)
Comicswise, he's Danny 's archenemy… Revealing that no matter how nice he comes off at first that he's still the unquestioning thug that Danny is supposed to be is a good choice.
Comics Kendra couldn't have held down that job.
Not my favorite take either, but considering that the conclusion puts him at the point he was in his first appearance, I can be patient.
At least Davos is about more critical.
In fairness, the gate is only open about a week every 15 years. There's some downtime….
In retrospect, Ward's powerlessness over even his subordinates is a big part of his character arc. But until that plays out, it's ridiculous.
It's a trait comics -Danny doesn't have either… But this one does. And you called it dead on for villainy.
There's something to be said for the idea that if Danny wants something, he ignores all societal rules that keeps him from getting it, but the show never bothers to say that.
It is literally that. Next episode implies he didn't even take the time to get the costume for the job and just ran immediately.
Apparently at any given time, half the security force is doing something criminal for one of the principles.
Harold finally going full brutal monster is a great minute, and the introduction of Davos was overdue. But Madame Gao slowly taking EVERYONE down psychologically was fun
Trish's comics counterpart got here from a previous hero too, so…
