You are mistaken. AER is not bracket racing. AER uses real performance as opposed to others who use subjective formulas and incredibly inaccurate power to weight ratios to class cars.

No, classes are based on qualifying times. All of the non-crap cars aren't just lumped together. Every class races for a podium and trophies.
