So I’m torn on this, because on one hand it’s good they’re going kind of out of the box for their art, but on the other hand this still kind of backs up that whole “Being thick is sexy as long as it’s all in your lower body” thing.

If by “burning wreckage” You mean ”Buildings that look exactly the same no matter what happens to them”, then at that point your... What’s the word... “Immersion” is already broken.

I agree, but you have a long, long way to go down that chain of stuff that breaks immersion in Skyrim before you get to the kids.

I never said that I didn’t want people to install it, I just think saying you’re doing it for the sake of “Immersion” is a cop out, and the vast, vast, VAST majority of people playing these games aren’t doing the hardcore shit that actually effects game mechanics that would lead to actual “Immersion”.

If you care about that already, some virtual-ass kids running around isn’t gonna make you fight any harder.

I mean... It’s also weird when one of those dragons fries YOUR ass that you’re just able to re-load the game and try again...

You are soooooooo cool and edgy.

And as I have pointed out before, if you don’t care about saving the other innocent people, you’re not going to care any more about saving the kids.

I’m sure that’s why people install all the nude mods too, right? “Immersion”?

And for that reason you only play the game on hardcore mode and never re-load after you’ve died and just make a new dude. Also, you surely eat, drink, and sleep at the appropriate times, yes?

Right, and I also assume you never re-load the game after you’re killed and you just start over, because doing so would break the “immersion”?

Would you say it’s more of a tactical/moral concern than killing any other innocent bystanders via collateral damage?

Got it. So that’s why you only ever play the game on hardcore mode with OSO and all the other big-time realism mods installed. And I’m sure that if you die you scrap the character and make a new one, because loading a save would “break the immersion”, and you only ever save the game at inns and what not because

I can only assume that you’ve installed OSO and all of the physics mods and shit in the name of “immersion”. You know, mods that add actual, legitimate things to enhance the game. I can also only assume you’re playing the game on hardcore mode as well and when you die, you roll up a new character? And that you only

So if I made a mod that slapped a book into the game that explained why all the kids are unkillable, you’d be satisfied? Because it solves the problem literally just as effectively.

See? This is an acceptable answer. Don’t cry “immersion”. Just say you wanna kill some digital kids. It’s fine.

You know what else is “Retarded” if you’re a jerk and use that word? Someone who is a dragon-born demigod getting dropped by a mudcrab, or a crappy bandit, or 90% of the other stuff in that game that can kill you.

In the list of things in Skyrim that “Break the immersion”, unkillable children are way, way, way down on

I just feel like... On the list of shit on Skyrim that takes you out of being “Immersed”, killing children is waaaaay down on the list, you know?

I like it!

If you’re gonna dance with the devil you might as well lead, am I right?

I feel like you just made two sides of one argument in one statement...

I suppose it’s possible, but it seems unlikely since he went through the trouble of designing the urns and coffins and what not.
