Yeah, that's basically just BS

The recess power was intended for the president to stock positions in between congressional sessions. When the clause was written in the 18th century, Congress would convene for legislative sessions only periodically, due to lengthy travel times to and from their home states. In between, Congress would be in recess

I haven't seen that much of the show before this season, but the couple of flash-forwards with the mother seem out of place, as if creating moments of sentiment the show hasn't earned. Maybe it's just me, but seeing Ted propose to a woman he hasn't technically "met" yet just seemed odd. I get what the show is trying

Skinny Pete knows nothing about Star Trek

Are you trying to say there WASN'T a Homeland Security Act? Because there was.

"everything has become very Nazi-ish, which is, of course, the natural tendency of government in any global crisis."

King Bill is pretty awesome. Way better than lame Bill from seasons 1-3

"there was no pleasure to be had from it, in the context of the rest of the show"

"It would be nice for Sookie to learn something more about her magic
lightning hands. Too bad Eric ate her fairy godmother, or whatever. This
is prime example of the short-sightedness of this show’s storytelling.
Are we ever going to see the fairies again? What the heck was the point
of all of that in the first

It's kind of pointless to review a show if you think they should tie up any loose ends before they even start to develop them. Sure, there are things you'd like answers to, but it's kind of pointless to blame an episode for not showing something you want to see in general when there are likely years left to go on the

I love the inherent irony of this episode.
