He’s trying to say, without saying it directly, that the media’s main idea about investigation and research now is to go to twitter, walk out onto the street, look for rumors, and report it as real, and that is a problem. If the media still waited for fact and confirmations and things, he wouldn’t have to say anything.

I’d say Chris Christie is finally getting his just desserts, but that’s clearly not a new thing.
I was listening to NPR and they are saying that both sides are basically going to argue that it was Chris Christie. Defense is doing it to get the people actually on trial acquitted.

Seems to me that intentionally creating a dangerous situation that directly results in an otherwise-preventable death should have some kind of penalty.
