Potato link, but in my aging Volvo, the QI charging phone holder managed to not block a vent. I like the idea of a provision for a phone (a flat spot not blocking a vent and maybe even QI charging or whatnot) and then the customer can use it or not.

I am totally with you. Not particularly because of functions and expense (I suspect a touch screen is pretty cheap) but because I don’t want or need a goddamned space-shuttle flashing neon Blade Runner display blinding me when I drive at night.

Even the 2017 Corolla I drove the other year would turn off the display but

Buy the Osram/Sylvania ones. Yeah, you’ll pay at least $10/bulb, but you get what you pay for.

I couldn’t agree more. Sadly, a lot of the talk is focused on technical terms to baffle the consumers, which is how excrement like PIAA and Morimoto stuff is sold.

I wish people who wanted to “look cool” just just turn on their useless foglights and leave it at that.  At least that way they only negatively impact

The so-called “CANBus” LEDs are the ones with a load resistor built in, so they draw the same amount as a regular bulb and no more rapid flash.

PIAA shouldn’t be mentioned with any legitimate company. Their stuff is junk and sold only on advertising, not performance. Osram/Sylvania are good brands to go with.
LEDriving” and “Zevo” are a few lines they have. Yes, they’re ~$10/bulb, but they are worth it with no flickering, no humming, stable color and last a

I’m thinking Nice Price, but I’d want to look at it first.

2006 was the “good” V8, though the alternator can burn up, the valve covers leak, and the power steering pump go out, along with the trans servo, these are really the major issues that can arise. The rest is regular maintenance.

If I wanted a V8 XC90 to keep -

LOTS of Volvo seats look like that.  The reason for that is that very few Volvo owners (endemic to them?) can do the minimum maintenance.  Seriously, a wipe or two with some Leatherique or Lexol every few months would have them look great for many years.

If you’re in California, you’re in the best state in the union to ride motorcycles. Drivers know you split, see you split and open up to let you split.
I LOVE riding in California and have been all up and down the coast. It’s when you venture East that you take your life in your own hands.
Well, at least in Colorado

If you wanted the full dressed road sofa, you’d get a goddamned Goldwing. I mean, if you’re spending good money, it should be on a good bike!

License for 1 camera is included so you can test/set it up and make sure it works.

You are correct. I picked up a couple of these when they were $19 on ebay, specifically for the ONVIF support and they work great. I can’t speak to intrusive apps as I use mine with my NAS.

I picked up two of these last year for $19 (ebay) and they work well. There was a cheaper version but it only had wifi BG instead of BGN.
I use one for the front porch and it’s good enough to see faces on my property and cars along the street.

The other one is in the garage so I can see if I forgot to close the garage

Did it do weird things in Stop&Go with the start-stop stuff? The XC60 and V60s I’ve driven do a little weird lurching thing, particularly when the stop&go is more of a slow roll.

If it gets the T8 (super/turbo charged AND hybrid - over 400 ponies to kick you in the back), then it’ll be a goddamn riot!
Alternatively, if I lost 50 lbs, then ripped all the seats and insulation out of the S90, the weight-loss might make it a hoot too.

What the fuck, Jason. Your GF is in 9th grade?! /s
