Yeah, you're gonna need to check my pockets when I leave coz this squishy baby might "accidentally" be forced to come home with me. I want to kiss her and squeeze her and buy her jumpers in every color of the rainbow.

WHAT ARE YOU DOING, WHAT, WHAT, WHAT ARE YOU DOING?

I came in prepared for eyerolling...but nope. I actually think there might be an onion ninja outside my office...

OMG EVERTHORNE HAS A THEME SONG...!!!...

I wanted to hate this but no, I can't, it's just too good. Who knew fan fiction in the form of song could be so emotionally fulfilling?

What kind of crazy PR team do they have? Any halfway decent media consultant could tell you the way this is supposed to work: at the very least, you say you're conducting a full internal investigation, then you come out with a statement that you've "reviewed the current policies, addressed the problem, and will make

I fully believe that the NYPD were racist in these instances. I just don't believe they were the only ones.

I'd believe you if you told me the NYPD literally eat babies.

As was once said in Family Guy: "Lets go to Barney's and fart in the suits."

well, I've used a menstrual cup for 10 years so no blood (HA!) on my hands!

"Hot for Teacher" is wearing oven mitts. I love it.

Our plumber said that the vernacular among plumbers is "white mice." They're always snaking those mfs out. Gross!

If I wasn't afraid of showing my face to anonymous people on the Internet, I'd post a picture of my brows. I always get compliments on them — from everyone from estheticians (I get mine waxed for "maintenance" reasons) to random people on the street. Apparently, they're quite enviable.

Agreed. PLUS so many people went to the Make-A-Wish site that the site crashed (but thankfully not the donation page)! The event was totally worth it for making this little boy's dream come true, how much joy it brought SF and the internet and how much publicity and hopefully donations it brought in for Make-A-Wish.

"I am dead now"

In fairness, the organizers only expected a couple hundred volunteers which would have been a minimal cost to the city (police presence and all that). Something like 14,000 people showed up instead so the city had to beef up devoted resources. The city spent WAY more money on the two world series parades in 2010 and

yay! I was just saying the same thing! The collective feelzz that were going on that day made it well worth it :)

I'm actually surprised it was so low. The city can easily afford that. I think we (San Franciscans and people of the internet) got a lot out if it too. It felt good to pretend and be happy for Miles. It wasn't ironic and it wasn't cynical. As a tax paying member of society in The City, I approve of this use of money.

But let's be honest here. As wonderful as it was for the kid, it was also just good for humanity!
