Things that are 100% true that too few people believe:
It’s really sad that it’s going to be another close election. The man killed 1 million Americans in a year, added $8 trillion to the national debt, failed to deliver on just about every promise he ever made except for taking women’s bodily autonomy away, thru our institutions under the bus to appease Putin, abandoned…
I really hope he shows up for the Presidential debate. But I highly doubt it, Fox are already making excuses on why he shouldn’t show.
…Trump said, clearly failing to make the words line up the way he wanted.
Homicides almost *doubled* in DC during the Trump administration.
But if you actually listen to the words coming out of his mouth and remember that presidents didn’t used to speak like this, it’s pretty stunning.
I am just saddened and shocked by how quickly the Republican Party about-faced on Vladimir Putin. I remember 15 years ago then VP candidate Sarah Palin seriously suggested that the US go to war with Russia if Putin invaded Ukraine. Two days ago the same person posted this image to Twitter:
For the 1 millionth time, free speech protects people from the government imposing penalties on you for saying stupid/offensive/controversial/etc shit.
Recency bias is a dangerous thing... also explains why a portion of the population has such varying opinions on the economy (but that’s a different topic!)
I don’t like to oversimplify things, but this is pretty straightforward to me. A generation (maybe two or three generations) of people never really saw measles because MMR is so effective. These people grew up and became parents and wondered why they should get their children vaccinated against something that, as far…
“The older child’s family intentionally avoided measles vaccination, and the parents also refused proactive treatment”
This is a fact asserted by Tucker Carlson in a court of law.
As if that matters, at all.

Linda Yaccarino this morning: “Okay Elon. Today’s event is a big deal. We lost some big advertisers this week, and I’m not saying that’s your fault, but we need to bring them back. So go out there and be nice. Remind everyone that Twitter, I mean X is a great place for advertisers. We don’t condone antisemitism, and…
Facts don't matter. Say something often enough and loud enough and a third of the country will believe it.
I started paying for Premium several years ago when my kids were all about watching YouTube and it was easier to eliminate the ads on all our devices for what’s really not a lot of money per month. It’s been worth it for us, and I use the YouTube Music streaming in my car (which is included with YouTube Premium).
I’m confused why people are so aggro about this. Yeah ads suck. But YouTube is a very expensive company to run, your favorite creators can make millions a dollars a year, paid by Google.
I guess I don’t get the histeria around this one. So many people threatening to never go back to YouTube like that matters at all to Google. They are only losing money by continuing to serve people that block the ads. YouTube is astronomically expensive to run, where else are they going to get the revenue to justify…
