I can swear by this. I have installed Cinemaquest ideal-lume lights (http://www.cinemaquestinc.com/Ideal-Lume.htm) on three of my TV’s and it makes a world of difference in a dark room for eliminating eye fatigue. Highly recommend adding to a TV if you watch a lot of TV with the lights turned off.

I will agree with your statement, but the openness of XBMC allows you to add things Plex will never be able to.

I would say it has motivated me to get out and walk on a daily basis since I purchased my fitbit, and I have been at it for at least a year using it.

but if you want to have access to the media in Plex, it still needs to be scanned in. XBMC doesn't require the media to be scanned to be available, you just need to add the folders and not specify being a type of media.
