I will say ...yes, yes, yes. Considering Amazon is cheaper than anyone else and when you can two day ship almost everything for free, why buy things from anywhere else.

yeah these are two, I used all the time with Google Reader, and I know I am going to miss that, since most things I see on the web...are on Google Reader.

Not really original, but it works as a great XBMC media center and with the HDMI-CEC functionality, doesn't even need line of site to control. Which makes it perfect to stick behind the TV...with Velcro :)

Oh I completely agree, in about a week I am probably going to start going into withdrawals without having it, being I spend at least 10 hour days on the website.

Well, i discovered trying this HTPC Manager breaks Plex Media Server, since after I did this none of my new items would be scanned into Plex Media Server to be available to use, using a Plex client. The instructions state to install python in the C:\Python27 directory, and when that directory was created it stopped

nope, not really. I guess they don't generate any revenue off it, so they don't think there is a reason to keep it around.

That in a year, will not be getting the latest and greatest version of Android.

I would say the bandwidth monitor, since Comcrap wasn't offering one, yet punishing people if you went over to 250GB a month, and DD-WRT was the only way I could gauge my bandwidth usage.

completely agree.

there will always be some emergency that comes up, but I see a lot of home owners that lost their homes, because they were told 'real estate never goes down in value', and borrowed on them like a personal ATM with second mortgages and did upgrades and all sorts of things and when the housing market crashed, not only

or you save up for the home improvement, and use straight cash...and not be burdened like a lot of home owners were before 2007 using their house as a piggy bank and watch their house drop in value and then being in a double hole.

well I was not having any success trying to get out debt, until I did the focus thing Dave Ramsey preaches, which got me motivated to continue and finally got me out of debt.

I am not sure I agree with these views, when you try doing multiple things at once nothing gets accomplished. I know I was struggling to pay off debt doing this, then I was introduced to Dave Ramsey with his debt snowball and baby steps which basically tells you to focus on one item(pay off debt, minus mortgage and

completely agree, watching Oompa Loompas is almost as bad as scratching your fingernails on a chalkboard.

go to xbmchub.com and you will see that XBMC does things that Plex will never be able to do(mostly for legal reasons). Most of them are kind of questionable for legality, but it shows why XBMC is such a strong HTPC platform.

I would suggest the Pivos XIOS DS, which is an official XBMC sponsor, if you are looking at a media center box. They are a tad over $100 dollars and will play any media files you can throw at it.

XBMC, if you have the patience setting up MySQL, works very well for multiple XBMC devices and keeps your libraries in sync. The only downfall, not setting it up on a Roku anytime soon though.

I will say I use both since both have their strengths and weaknesses, (Plex, much better with streaming video and sharing itunes libraries, XBMC, much better plugin support and more customizable HTPC interface).

Not sure if this has been noted in the comments. For the iOS app, I would suggest over the one recommended in the article, instead I would choose the official XBMC remote. It is a free app and the developer is great about putting new functions in the remote to make it better, and it has both an iPhone and iPad

I am actually using both, but I do prefer XBMC over Plex, but both do have their strengths over the other I will give you that. I am using the PleXBMC XBMC plugin so I have access to my Plex content in XBMC.
