you’d think they gave him aa reacharound too.

Plus I’m sure it will be fine from now on. This seems like a fluke on an otherwise very reliable product.

Seriously!

“The truck tried to murder me today after it broke down on my first drive. Totally my fault though, still love Tesla!”

The Cybertruck is a “beast” in the same way that a Vespa scooter is a “hog.”

hilarious - they gave his brand brand brand new car a quick wash and vacuum. You sure don’t get that at legacy automakers.

He mentioned it hadn’t been cleaned when he picked it up originally. So they just did what they should’ve done originally.

I wonder if they told him they would cover the repair if he made a positive post.

“above and beyond” = Teslastan for doing the bare minimum, and only when insisting in public.

After what, 60 minutes and 35 miles, before getting home (I presume), the man’s Cybertruck needed a detail. Unless they considered cleaning up the coolant mess a detail job.

He’s likely already fully stocked on the kool-aid since he bought his “beast” to begin with (why do they keep calling them that?). But yeah, I’ve never seen someone so proud and happy after just having their 35-mile-old vehicle dumping out coolant. This is just weird.

I can’t understand why anybody would buy a Tesla right now while the management is all being laid off...

Sounds like they gave him a glass of Kool-Aid too....

Not much of a US/world history buff? This is incredibly naive. The bulk of products you have in your house are made in China. Getting holier than thou about manufacturing location is weak AF. Go actively advocate for human rights, but don’t bring that in as a serious counter to a superior and cheaper product in a

How does this even make sense? American companies are spending tens of billions of dollars investing in EV development and your first thought is “they’re just spending that money because they don’t actually want to do EVs”?

They build nonsense cars like that so that they can point to sales figures and claim that nobody wants EVs/hybrids and just continue to build trucks, which is what they’ve always wanted to do.

At this point I feel they are purposely sabotaging the EV market so they can scream about it failing so they can get back to ICE vehicles.

Naw, the self-deluded American car manufacturers will continue utterly fooling themselves that there is an infinite market for 1200hp EVs that cost a quarter million dollars. Face facts? Not these willfully blind simpletons.

There’s one reason for prohibiting the cars: no American or Japanese car-maker wants this competition here. It’s the 1970s panic over Japanese cars all over again. It’s just a different Asian nation.

There will be some numptys commenting who will act like prohibiting the importation of Chinese EVs is being done for data protection or whatever (like it even matters any more), but it is 100% being done purely because the big 3 are scared absolutely to death. It’s the same exact rhetoric that was used back in the
