I’ve heard lots of rumors that he’s an awful SOB behind the scenes.  Like, Ellen level.  So that’s why I hate him.  Not that he’s an aggressively mediocre hack, but that like Ellen he’s spun this myth that he’s a loveable, friendly every-man when he’s really a snobbish POS.

I think you hit on it though - trucks are protected from market forces making them artificially accessible. If that went away the ‘problem’ would mostly solve itself. 

No offense taken! This was 100% an op-ed by me to try and really uncover what makes us want trucks, and that is a very correct analysis of it. Basically I wanted to present the facts, offer a possible reason, and leave it at that. Thank you for reading!
