S 1414 is a senate bill allowing student loans discharged. Sen Durbin (D-IL) introduced it 5/9/19. It’s in the Senate Judiciary Comittee

Tell that to the billion dollar corporations that don’t pay taxes and take loans they never pay back. That would benefit America a lot more.  

There was a time in the US when you COULD include student loan debt in filing Chapter 7 bankruptcy.

right? it was google chat before it was hangouts, then they tore it up and now they’re going back. WE TOLD YOU YEARS AGO.

Can one of these days Google just taketh ITSELF away entirely so we don’t have to think about which Google service is going next? Just... get rid of it all. I’m seriously fucking tired of using perfectly good G services for years and then wham I have to find something else.

Google Voice combined with Hangouts has been a *fantastic* option for my small business. One number (not my cell phone #) that calls any cell phone I have Hangouts loaded on to and my desktop/laptop at the same time?

I love Hangout. When I broke my arm and leg, unable to perform much movement, I rely on using my iPad to pass the time. Having Hangout installed on it, I was able to use my iPad as my phone to make and receive phone calls without having to find my phone with a broken arm. It was so convenient.

I love the ability to use Hangout on desktop. When I forgot my phone or when I expect to be put on hold for an hour, making call from my desktop with my headset is so much easier and better.

I give stadia 2 to 3 years before it gets put out of its misery as well. This is the google way.

I fully and completely miss the days when Google Hangouts could serve as my texting app. They had it so perfectly integrated together, and it was the closest thing Android has ever had to iMessage. But then they wanted us to use Allo or some crap, so they divorced texting to another app. It's all gone downhill from…

Then there are Google Voice users ... . by early next year, the calling feature will need to be expunged entirely. These users ... will be slowly shepherded to Google’s Voice platform sometime before that happens.

I really enjoyed it.  There was at least one moment each episode that had me in stitches, even when I wasn’t laughing out lout I was enjoying the jokes, and it stayed on the right side of laughing with Trek instead of at it.

It was really good, and got much better as it went along. I liked it a lot.
