I think you should ride some different electric motorcycles but I appreciate where you are coming from.

Yep...like 12 years now.
The two most fun things I’ve been in/on this year have been electric. Taycan Turbo S and Harley Livewire, in case you were wondering.
“including people who currently hold the power in two out of three branches of the US govt”
A tax on carbon is a simple solution, and true enough, our government won’t pass it. The why is simple. There are nearly 263 million registered cars in the US, 99% of which are ICEs, and a huge infrastructure built on fueling…
“plans to be profitable going forward”
Found the person who’s never experienced instant torque.
This is a good take. For years we’ve been halfheartedly rooting for Tesla, knowing all the while that a new car company in post-consolidation, hyperregulated America would be nearly impossible. Tesla finds a way to shave down production costs and everyone jumps down their throats. I’m no fan of this hideous…
Tesla already owns production lines with all the systems you're claiming they're avoiding. Your argument fails both the smell test and any application of Occam's Razor.
What’s the estimated offset between steel stressed body and a ladder frame under a more conventional body?
I wouldn’t worry about it too much. The CyberTruck is just what happens when a company is panicking and in various stages of chaos, and needs to jump start the news cycle to keep the stock price up. I love some of what Tesla has done, but the place is run by a delusional fantasist who seems to be entering the Berlin…
Why should we sit around and argue about how we are going to die
Nah it’s not the crushing student and medical debt, it’s definitely Greta that makes young people not buy cars as much.
Parts are generally easy, but some stuff specific to the 9-3, and particularly V6 and/or Haldex models is expensive. A wiper assembly, for example, is like $500 or more. But there’s so many 9-3s still around that junkyards have lots of parts.
The parts division was a separate company and is still in business. It’s not hard to get parts even for pre-GM Saabs.
I’d offer $4K and see if they countered.
Saab prices have been climbing the past few years. Gone are the days when you could buy a driver for a grand.
Brilliant last sentence. You deserve my star.
I have a soft spot in my heart for Snabs. I had a 9000 and a 900 before I switched to VeeDubs. This one would be a hoot to drive, it’s in good shape, and you won’t see another one coming down the road at you. A great DD. Nice Price all the way to Trollhättan.
Love the 9-3 Aero X.. what was it? 280hp and 320lb-ft? Previous to that I almost bought a 92x as my first car. Was a Saad day when Saab died
