Tesla already owns production lines with all the systems you're claiming they're avoiding. Your argument fails both the smell test and any application of Occam's Razor.

Nah it’s not the crushing student and medical debt, it’s definitely Greta that makes young people not buy cars as much.

Parts are generally easy, but some stuff specific to the 9-3, and particularly V6 and/or Haldex models is expensive. A wiper assembly, for example, is like $500 or more. But there’s so many 9-3s still around that junkyards have lots of parts.

The parts division was a separate company and is still in business. It’s not hard to get parts even for pre-GM Saabs.

I’d offer $4K and see if they countered.  

Saab prices have been climbing the past few years.  Gone are the days when you could buy a driver for a grand.

I have a soft spot in my heart for Snabs. I had a 9000 and a 900 before I switched to VeeDubs. This one would be a hoot to drive, it’s in good shape, and you won’t see another one coming down the road at you. A great DD. Nice Price all the way to Trollhättan.
