I actually love Mr McNutt's decision to ignore that plotline/character that he's ignoring - it helps me to ignore it too, which is a huge plus.

That's my all-time favourite line in the whole show.

I (and millions of others) agree - Cranston is astonishingly brilliant in the role, as is Aaron Paul (who should get even more plaudits than he already does, in my opinion). So I'm really glad Cranston was cast - the show would not be the same without him. The thing is, though, that that's only really evident now..

I'm with you on MLP - I think if pretty much anyone else were playing Nancy, I probably wouldn't still be watching (although I really liked season 6, admittedly, beyond just MLP). She is fantastic, though.

Heh.. look, even though I have a love for this show (which I can't entirely justify logically), I do know what you mean. I'm a bit like that with a few shows, actually - I'll watch Nurse Jackie *and* The Big Boring C - both of them - until the bitter end, for instance, even though I don't like either of them very much

@Fourth Side of the Eternal Tri - thanks so much for the link to that review - had just spent nearly half an hour trying to find it and was about to leave a comment asking Mr McNutt if he could link to it.. now there's no need! Heh.. well congrats, at any rate! And you gotta give it to Mr McNutt forr giving credit where it's (arguably) due.. I thought that was quite impressive on his part as well.

I'm that guy (girl) as well  - my bf laughed at it but I thought it was deeply disturbing to an extent that I didn't think was quite intended. It was serious sexual assault on someone who could not have been more vulnerable, and while I think Nancy has suffered a certain amount of sadism (mostly humiliation) at the
