I agree with you re the lack of chemistry - but apparently they're actually dating in real life.. weird.

'And "I'll meet you at balloon" makes complete sense.'

Yeah, but that dress they put her into in the dinner party scene did her no favours. I thought she must've had a fight with an influential person in the costume department - someone's got it in for her, at any rate.

I'm with you - I thought they were both brilliant!

I have to admit, I wondered who 'Peter' was too. Then I forgave myself, cos I'm Australian. Which means I'm an idiot.

God I love this segment - have said it before, and I'll say it again - you're a genius for coming up with this concept, TVDW - thank you!

But she's a pioneer! They said so! Paving the way for women to pose naked so that men can make money from that for generations to come! Women all over the world should be grateful.

Anyway, she wasn't in 'In the Loop' (a movie) - she was in 'The Loop' - a TV show.

Hi Young! I love it when the artists from the show comment publicly like this (I saw your similar comment on Jerry Saltz's NY Mag recap too - and to anyone not yet reading them as well as these ever-brilliant Teti recaps, they're also fascinating).

That wouldn't surprise me so much - Dean strikes me as a horrible pilot who takes huge risks all the time with his plane.I certainly wouldn't want to be his passenger.

I'm actually glad that season 7 wasn't the last season, partly cos it wasn't that great. They've come back from lesser seasons before with stronger ones.. I have high hopes that this final season will be good. Either way, I'll be watching it to the end (why stop now?).

Me too - it's *always* good to see Diane.

I quite liked it, but I'll pretty much like Bill Nighy in anything, I have to admit. But I just wanted to thank you for mentioning Poliakoff - had never heard of him, but a quick search uncovered a lot of very interesting movies and TV specials starring heaps of my favourite English actors, so am definitely going to

The Maggie of the first episode being an increasingly different character from what she's shown to be since has bothered me for a few episodes now. The two Maggies don't gel at all for me. She seemed to be almost indifferent about her job in the pilot - she was definitely not taking it dead seriously, the way she was

Man, I don't! I find Grace and Zach by far the most boring parts of an otherwise always entertaining show.

I don't live in the US, so could someone more local please tell me why a lot of tomorrow night's shows aren't on? I realise some people have real problems, but I don't want to wait a whole nother week for Community and Parks and Rec! Specially Community - I mean, these shows have only just started again! So what's the

'“I think you’re a little bit of, like, a magpie,” he says, furthering Project Runway’s mission to honor every species of bird other than owls.'

It's a brilliant innovation, this segment where showrunners discuss whole seasons, episode by episode, in detail - I absolutely love it - so thank you, AV Club!

'Alan Cumming is also extremely good at saying the word “cheese.”'

I'm at exactly the same point. I tried - I really did - because of the brilliant cast (the premise doesn't interest me in the slightest). But the great cast just isn't enough, as far as I'm concerned… I'm out.
