I felt the same. I even tried to convince myself it was getting better.. but failed. A lot of people really tried to like that show, I think.. but to no avail.

Wow - I actually found this episode really stressful. Heylia wanted to kill Nancy long *before* this happened.. everything seems like a huge (fun for the viewer) mess with a lot at stake, to me.

I like the way you tell us what the end credits song is, Mr McNutt - thanks for that!

Really? I didn't think that, but maybe you guys are right. I thought Silas looked more like he was pondering over the full-on significance of what he was about to do - and yes, being dicturbed by it - but it didn't occur to me that it was only just then occurring to *him* that his aunt was crazy. But yeah, maybe

The fake laughter makes this show impossible to watch. I thought both the main actors were fantastic and had great chemistry. And while I agree with Erik that some of the jokes were torturously strained - embarrassingly so - there were also a couple of genuinely funny moments. But that canned laughter - it's beyond

So hipsters are all guys then?

I completely agree with you too - that was just so patently unfair! If half the designers were in wheelchairs, there'd be an uproar. But it's just women, so who cares??

I'm with you, here.

'In the end, it’s CK’s freedom they’re fighting for as much as anyone else’s.'

@Arubdel - yeah, that was my favourite bit (among many others) too… absolutely hilarious.

Gus isn't mentoring Jesse - he's *manipulating* Jesse - and that seems very much in keeping with Gus's style. He did something similar to both of them when he bought the meth of Jesse and only paid him half and paid Walt the other half. He would have heard about how Jesse reacted to that - and he saw for himself how

Oh - and I'd like to add my name to the long list of fans of these recaps - they're always enjoyable, even when you use 'effected' when you mean 'affected' (sorry - couldn't resist).. so thank you, Mr Herzog!

With such *men*, I mean.. and that was just one of many typos, unfortunately. But you get my gist..

I agree with all the moments listed above as ones where it becamse necessary to very actively suspend one's disbelief.. and I also agree that that's just aprt of this show - even part of its charm. But of all the literally incredible aspects to this episode, the one that stood out for me - even more than *nobody*

That's on eof the things i like about this show, actually - it's essentially so.. benign. I passionately love Breaking Bad, and I loved The Wire and The Shield and all that, but it's a kind of refreshing change to see a show like this that is actually kind of sweet. Kramer's character fits into that tone very nicely,

Silas's agent
Maybe Silas's agent (who is also played a tad broadly, imo) just assumed he would lose, and that's why she didn't tell him that's what she wanted him to do in advance? That's the impression I got, but I do go out of my way to try to defend this show. Not that I think you're attacking it or anything, Mr

Up until this episode…
…this season, like last season has been execrable. I know you've been criticised for being too harsh in your critiques this season, Mr Heisler, but I think you've been more than fair (bordering on way too kind, imo, but it's all a matter of taste in the end, and I do enjoy your writing). But

Yeah.. I thought there has to be something else going on here too - some secret message she's passing onto him somehow(??).. but that seems as unlikely as the kiss in the first place. It just didn't really work, however you look at it.

Heh.. that's classic. Nice catch, Dante. And nie reaction too, Mr Teti. Am loving these recaps, btw - wonderful job on a wonderful show.
