Exactly the same, tbh. This was delightful.

I v much like the title of this. I was v confused and kept thinking “that’s Macklemore, right? He does Kidz Bop?” And then he said moped, and I was like “Ohhh, hahaha. That’s funny.”

just curious: do you cry while cashing your paycheque? or just late at night, lying in bed wondering how you will live with yourself?

I’m sorry it was such an ordeal with you. I was lucky, I spent 2 days in bed, 4 days taking it easy, and drove myself to VT from MA 10 days after. RealSelf is great because it has stories like mine and yours, so people can educate themselves and make decisions knowing the possible outcomes from firsthand narrative.

Seems like they Forgot about Dre

Yeah, I looked at it when I was considering lasers for my acne scarring.

“Worth it” is people ranking their own experiences. So like, 93% say Botox was worth means 93% of people who reviewed Botox on the site believed it was a good use of their money. The article was super unclear on that though and I’m not really sure if it was supposed to be snarky or what.

I know a woman who spent a decade constantly in pain and uncomfortable. She had ripped when giving birth so badly (and the doctors did such a poor job sewing her up) that she ended up with flaps of skin hanging off of her crotch where there hadn’t before been any.

Oh, please. I have several friends who got just wrecked from their kids. One friend had a baby so big that her abs are permanently separated and she needs surgery to fix it. Another friend got ripped so badly by her baby that she spent several years with flaps of skin hanging off her labia that would catch in her

But the reviewer ranks it as worth it or not, no? So, it’s not strangers coming back and saying, “YAS THOSE NEW TITTIES ARE 10/10 WOULD STARE AT AGAIN”

I don’t see what the big deal is. I find RealSelf very helpful. I’ve used it to decide on chemical peels and coolsculpting. I’d rather make decisions based on some sort of reviews and feedback than just winging it. As for the “unattractive” angle of your post—I think you’re being myopic in your views of who gets

I had the same experience preparing for my rhinoplasty last year. I used this site to help me make an informed decision from people who underwent the thing I was contemplating. I definitely wasn’t rating anyone’s nose!

I think websites like this are great. Like it or not, people of all stripes get different cosmetic procedures. And, like it or not, there are a lot of sketchy doctors doing less than quality work out there. Yes, you can check with the medical board and look at their referral photos, but that only gets you so far.

You should do what makes you feel better about yourself. It’s no one else’s place to judge. If you feel good about it, then I say it was money well spent.

I can’t decide if this is supposed to be kinda snarky or not. I browsed RealSelf extensively last year while I was preparing for my boob job and lipo and it helped a lot because I could read about other women’s experiences. For me, a surgery being “worth it” was not only about the visible results, but also about the
