Incidentally, the bouncing pearls thing has driven me nuts for decades. A strand of real pearls — even decent quality glass pearls — is knotted between each bead both for aesthetics and so that if the strand ever breaks you lose only a pearl or two at most. Where was Martha Wayne getting her cheap-ass beads?

The funny thing about Batman is that he’s one of the least expensive superheroes to portray on screen. You don’t need expensive CGI, you just need dank alleys and warehouses and supervillains in weird costumes with elaborate schemes that usually involve simple mechanical things.

I know people like Batman and Batman movies, but I really wish Batman was an HBO prestige series. I’m tired of Batman trilogies that take 10 years that generally cover the same ground and never get to some of the cool Batman stuff.

I hope there’s a meaty flashback to Batman’s childhood. I’ve always wondered what horrible trauma he must’ve endured to become such a twisted, vengeance-dealing adult. What I’m saying is, I want a Batman movie that shows us why he became the bat, not just how. And I want the movie to spend as much time there as…

Bless whichever writer had Cecile state that running that article was extremely ill-advised, due to lack of evidence. Kara Danvers needs more Cecile’s in her city.

I swear this episode is the first time Iris has ever had internal conflict that had nothing to do with her love life.
