Well now you've sold me on that!
Well now you've sold me on that!
Hannah gets help on the case from her journalist BFF, Jules (Aisha Tyler), and lawyer ex, Jake (Geoff Stults). Aren’t their professions terribly convenient?
Just to add, objectively the worst Looney Tunes thing I've seen is the abysmal show where they're all babies.
I’ve caught some of the newer Looney Tunes toons and they’re surprisingly violent (not sure if I read somewhere that this aspect was supposed to be toned down...?). I don’t like how similar a lot of the characters sound nowadays, though.
I’d love it if the reveal is all the main characters are non-identical clones of Kristen Ritter. Is that even possible? It’s sci-fi, of course it is!
I think the last Thunderbolts run I read featured Mac Gargan’s Venom. I’d love to see him stealth-introduced in this movie, because if they’re going to finally use Mac Gargan after Homecoming, and work in the stray Venom blob from No Way Home, this would kill two birds with one stone. Somehow. Ehhhhh, don’t push me to…
Gary Lineker, who’s well known for a) being one of the longest-serving hosts of one of the world’s longest-running regular sports shows, and, b), being unapologetically loud with “controversial” left-leaning commentary
I forgot about that! More spontaneous combustion, please, season two.
I hope there’s some actual supernatural weirdness going on this time that isn’t just a group hallucination like the first season. The suggestion that the woods wouldn’t let them leave was an excellent idea, but wasn’t really explored.
It’s a goddamn travesty there’s no mention of SLUGS.
This is all I needed to know my “soften Lovecraft” project should go ahead.
Cheers for clarifying some stuff! I didn’t think they’d just popped round the corner at the end but it sure felt like it haha
Hmmm. Good review, but what I really want to know is: is this in any way like Star Wars?
‘Urban Harvest’ (number three?) is enjoyable as it moves the horror into the inner city, and includes 1. a tiny corn field that bends space and time and 2. a weird monster.
Although I enjoyed the episode overall, it’s the first that felt predictable (I haven’t played the game so I don’t know how much of what happened comes from it).
Such veterans persist in show business because they’re reliable, not because they’re inspired.
Oh shit, FINALLY someone does something with a Bentley Little story! I only hope it captures the same "incongruity turns weird turns evil" vibe.
Is it Warhammer 40k that has gretchens? It’d be funny if Cavill’s playing a gretchen.
The remains of their careers!
