I wouldn’t be at all surprised to discover that Val’s, ahem, assembling an anti-Avengers, one filled with ostensibly good people who are otherwise easily misled. Likely in cahoots with Kingpin and god knows however many other top bad guys, in a bid to ‘fight fire with fire’ so to speak, or go the Thunderbolts route

I’m finding these Disney+ Marvel shows think their reveals are more surprising than they are. I mean, I’m sure some people watched the last episode and then this one and went “OH MY GOD WHAT NO WAY” but I reckon most of us, who’ve been able to largely keep up with either the movies or relevant news stories, simply

Finally got the chance to watch Black Widow this week and it’s definitely the most enjoyable Marvel film I’ve seen so far (missed Eternals and Shang-Chi) as it’s also the cheesiest. All the big action scenes are so utterly preposterous it’s impossible not to grin like an idiot. Also, David Harbour is fantastic in it.

I liked the first one, god help me, partly because Jim Carrey looked to actually be having fun. James Marsden wasn't awful, either.

There was also a Saturday Live during the 90s, but it didn’t last long.

Jokes are jokes, but I would be terrified if the kid's stories turn out to be true.

Ah, I always thought he was the Joe Magliano of the Vin Diesels :(

Get the chap who did Rubber to do a TCM movie from the point of view of the chainsaw.

MULLHOLLAND DRIVE might just be my favourite Lynch film, as it has a cracking soundtrack and gets weird without becoming incoherent.

Superhero fatigues are what I got kicked out of the army for wearing. Heeyyoooo!

As his home planet explodes around him.

I really appreciated the goofy humour in the first episode, and how this episode then immediately follows that up by being unstable and bleak. I love that the writers are going with “Barry’s nuts but probably isn’t”.

I believe it's "Tyrannosauri" although I will also accept "Massive Bastards".

Unless this one has a girl doing gymnastics to kick a raptor out a building, I’m not interested.

I’ll add my voice to the chorus of “Williams was fantastic in ONE HOUR PHOTO.” He was also very good in THE NIGHT LISTENER, as a DJ who gets involved in the story of (if I remember correctly) a missing girl, that turns out to be something quite different. It also helps that the movie is shot like a supernatural

Another Carnivale fan here! Stahl was very good in it; he always felt like an actor who could do a bunch of different genres and bring something different to each role. Here’s hoping he gets to act in some decent projects now.

“What the f-” indeed, Courtney, in the best possible way.

A few years ago I swore I saw Bruce Campbell in an airport (Austin), so I asked him on Twitter if it had been him. I never got a reply so it shall have to remain one of life’s great mysteries.

So The Shade’s definitely popping back next week, right? His creepy top-hatted shadow and “Baaaarrrbaarraaaaa” couldn’t have just been a weird one-off scene.
