1. KOTOR has nothing at all to do with Bethesda. Literally nothing. It was developed by Bioware for LucasArts (now Lucasfilm Games).

Ummm... So.... KOTOR was originally developed by Bioware. And LucasArts owns the IP. So... Yeah.
I got Automata, yeah. Character and combat also seem Bayonetta-ish to me.
There’s a lot going on with this dev house.
Maybe they could implement a system were a dev can flag their game as short so if a player were to 100% a game it would no longer be available for refund.
And yet, we have SE, who has left most of their massive 16bit and 32bit catalog in Japan and routinely forget they even put them out. And they aren’t the only one.
Bring back levatate spell you cowards!
I don’t think there’s much to worry about with Asmon honestly. He seems to be genuinely enjoying himself, and if he has an axe to grind on gameplay, he can join the club with the healers and half the tanks in being perturbed.
When Activision Blizzard takes a hit, I think everybody wins.
Mods can do some glorious (and horrible) things.
Granted, I didn’t really play much of Skyrim, but the character in the header image looks more like a FFXIV one than a Skyrim one
It’s good enough that LGBT people like myself can feel comfortable about being open without having to worry about things like slurs and whatnot. Best way to describe the FFXIV community as a whole is open and tolerant, though there are a few bad apples, like with any game.
I don’t think the influx of shitty…
I’ve watched a bit of his FFXIV streams for the novelty of it, and while I don’t think he’s going to be someone I tune into a lot, I have been charmed by just how enthusiastic he is about FFXIV and how much fun he’s having.

Well cool, thanks for squashing the image Kinja.
Several devs have complained somewhat recently about theorycrafters and how they “damage” the community, nevermind that these very people started in theorycrafting sites going as back as the now defunct Tankspot.
I have little to no interest in the spat around Asmongold. All I hope is that nonsense toxicity doesn’t follow a lot of these WoW players over into FFXIV. I love our community, and it’s easily the best one I’ve been in over the 20 years I’ve been gaming online...
That said, it’s also ridiculous to think that one…
Man, this is one of those fights where no one wins.
