David Tracy is pretty handy with a welder. Get him back from Germany for this.

Your attempt to sanely educate the frothing masses is wasted. Your report of *the actual system* vs. What They Want To Believe is like spitting in the rain.

Coming from the army, there is no such thing as an idiot-proof system. If you want to wait for that to come out before releasing a product, you may as well just go back to bubble wrapped rocks and caves.

I think that a quick Japanese surrender was an added bonus, but dropping the bombs was to show the rest of the world what had been developed.

Would we do it today? I want to say no? But we also wouldn’t be able to comprehend the loss of 10k marines and soldiers in a single battle or the loss of multiple aircraft carriers.

Technically, Achilles only had one vulnerable *heel*. So, you can only have one Achilles heel; you can’t have multiple Achilles heels.

This is kind of a ridiculous statement. The “A” team doesn’t easily win all of its international games either. It needed Durant’s heroics to win in 2012. Spain’s 2016 semifinals medal game was uncomfortably close.

A 2009-2010 S63 AMG (55k miles) goes on eBay for about 30k. V8, very smooth. Maintenance isn’t bad either.

Don’t buy the cowboy bebop collection. It doesn’t come with the Japanese language tracks, only the English dub.

There is an additional trade asset ESPN does not talk about who would go a long way to balancing out the money - Chris Paul. If they include 2 to 3 lightly protected 1st round picks to move his contract, the Lakers should be doing everything in their power to get into this trade.

I’m not sure I’ve seen a single comment *here* saying they shouldn’t have scored 13 times. There’s no debate about that. The issue is the amount of celebration by the 12th or 13th goal.

Guy, Fallout 2 used to take 10 minutes* to save a game on (what was at the time) a state of the art computer. After all it’s patches it still had crippling bugs to include a missing trunk of your car, getting stuck in a gecko fighting ring, and rando crashes.

Maybe I’m wrong, but I think the article indicates that:

If baking powder is enough to quench the stench, your dogs aren’t stinky.

You see the same colleges year after year in the rankings not because of “a strict salary cap” but because they are competing for the right to “sell” a player to a professional league. Some schools/coaches are better than others at doing that (due to history, contacts, etc).

You can’t go and try to be relentlessly logical. This is kinja. Join in the outrage!

Come on, guys. No brainer.

I think the boys of ‘76 would say, sure, go ahead and do what we did, but *just like us*, accept that the decision is illegal and punishable by death. But if that’s the price you’re willing to pay, then have at it.

I’m just saying...having the starting five leave in the draft *is absolutely what’s really important*.
