Lindsay Lohan went after Rockstar for GTA V and lost multiple times

Exactly what I thought when they showed the clips the trailer bits were based off of.

I’m honestly surprised more of those chuckleheads aren’t whining on social media to try and extend their 15 seconds of fame for being referenced.

I mean, both movies were visually stunning with zero plot or depth, so I guess this is pretty faithful?

“Gorgeous, Fun and Empty” ... So it’s like an Avatar movie?

Of course it’s empty. It’s based on the Avatar IP, so it’s going to be marketed and over-commercialized to hell and back.

Destiny wasn’t a flop at all. it was such a hit that it spawned a trend of pubs seeking GAAS games despite the flagship title for the genre being aggressively mid and literally nobody else

I wish it was a flop. A flopped destiny would mean we’d be on mass effect 6 and Prey 2 by now. We would probably have gotten a new

I’ve worked on a Destiny-like game before, while I don’t want to forgive the Bungie guys for all their mistakes, it is exceedingly hard to keep all of your old content playable over a multiyear game. Just the amount of content alone grows to an amount where you have to develop an entire system for load/unloading

That money went to the investors/owners of Bungie, and is gone. These are the people who bought it out from Microsoft. When Sony bought the company, in addition to taking ownership of the physical stuff, they paid the money to the investors that ponied up in the first place. Essentially, all of that money disappeared.

Bungie has proven they can’t handle Destiny so many times already. It really has been a franchise that’s full of issue. From Destiny 1 being a flop and dieing super quickly, to Destiny 2 being a total mess.

Confusing expansions, excessive amount of currencies and microtransactions. One of the worst crimes of all was

Destiny 2 is six years old. Most people have moved on to something else. Make a new IP or Destiny 3 at this point.

Jesus Christ, the stupid fucking trailer drops tomorrow, it’ll release and get near-universal 10/10s, people need to chill on this damn game.

The industry really needs to get the fuck off of Twitter and social media. Same goes for the people writing this crap. Stop giving mouth breathers air.

Can’t believe I clicked on this.

Or...people who realize the only way ActiBlizz will regain the shine of old is to have new ownership.  Former Blizzard employee here.

Man... Plot aside, I really liked the two MoH reboot games. They had features/details that I think CoD didn’t include for close to a decade, and it felt like something halfway between the fast-paced AAA US Army FPS of CoD and the slow-paced AAA US Army FPS of the Clancy games.

His entire spiel was very masterfully worded corporate speak that should translate more simply into, “We must stop pandering solely to the mythical ‘core gamers’ sooner, rather than later to grow our industry if it is to survive.”

“If we continue to coalesce around the four or five genres, then we won’t get the new players because those people have already said we’re not interested in your genres,” Layden said. “Don’t kid yourself that someone who’s said ‘no’ to Call of Duty for the last 15 years is going to start suddenly saying ‘yes’ to Call

Now playing

Hmmm that suite was in Miles Morales and acted exactly the same way. It is not new to Spider-Man 2.

It was even advertised on the official Playstation channel:

I, for one, generally don’t prefer to get my recs from Gam3rG4t0r420 on GameFAQS or RedditUserSchlub.
