THIS SHOW IS STILL ON??!!??!!

Did anyone else listen to the Planet Money (NPR) podcast about Birkin bags? Really fascinating about what people will go through to find one. Someone found a trick to it: you gotta buy some of their expensive scarves then ask if they happen to have a bag laying around. They’ll have one for you, then...

I COMPLETELY AGREE! F*ck Andrew Jackson. And don’t anyone dare replace my beloved Hamilton. He’s the only good looking man on money we have...

I live close to the Southfield, so I usually take that up to 696 to 75. Telegraph is the alternate route (and to be avoided unless necessary).

THIS. A MILLION TIMES, THIS. I hate going to ANYTHING that’s at the Palace. Such a pain in the ass.

I’ve recently made the decision to do this, although not for a couple years as I would like to clear out some financial stuff and to get a little more prepared. I’m 38 and am tired of waiting for the fairytale “meet a dude, marry, have kids”, so I’m throwing that to the side. Earlier this year I was in a depression as

I want this pizza and I want it NOW.

The busses. The g-ddamn busses...

Yeah, I fly out of Detroit which is a Delta hub and, therefore, I primarily fly Delta (hey, I get points!). So, when I hit Europe, I usually have to flip carriers (to an extent). I think because you fly Air France, you luck out.

CDG is seriously the WORST to transfer through. I normally luck out going through Amsterdam, but there are those occasions when you’re stuck with CDG.

Please try to NEVER, EVER transfer planes at Charles de Gaulle in Paris, especially if coming out of or going into the US. If you do need to transfer, try to allow yourself at least a 3 hour window and be prepared to RUN.

Yeah, I’ve thought about this as well, but the logistics of raising a kids on one’s own freaks me out far more than not having a kid (at least, as of this moment in my life it does). Just the whole logistics and financials (ah!)... Awesome that your sis is doing this, though, and I hope she gets pregnant on the first

Thanks! I know it’s slightly irrational (or, rather, just plain irrational) but when you’re surrounded by marrieds with kids and you, yourself, had wanted that but begin realizing you A) may not get it and B) not sure if it’s 100% what you really wanted, it’s hard to let things go. And that’s what I’m working through

I’m with you. I’ve been recently sorting out feelings that, as I’m getting older and still am single, the odds of having a kid keep dwindling and dwindling. I used to think that if I reached 40 (2 years away now) I would look into adopting from foster care or something, regardless of whether I was in a relationship or

OMG, I LOVE this album. So much so I may actually BUY it.

I had a 2004 Dodge Neon that I LOVED. It definitely wasn't the lap of luxury by any means... The only thing automatic on it was gear shift; it was manual everything else, even windows which startled a lot of people. And the number of times I had to tell people to remember to lock their damn door when they got out

GOOD.

So, I live in Detroit (just the other side of the river away from Canada) and have recently joined a dating website. As I put in a 20 mile radius suggestion of potential Mr. amarnagirl13 candidates, this includes those who are on the same website from Canada. So, my plan is to hook up with one of them and marry into

I'm not sure if mine has ever gotten into plastic grocery bags, but she has also loved the paper bags from Trader Joe's. I think she really likes this one because of all the room.

This is Miss Josephine Isis Aurora (because why have 1 name when you can have 3). She is a harasser of Dog, clawer of couch, pee-er *just* outside of litter box (thank the heavens for puppy pads), ruler of roost, cuddler beyond compare (unless she's not having it) and one of my bestest of friends.
