Considering that the 328i is around 3400lbs, this seems highly unlikely, especially if the engines are the same other than tune. Even if you assume they found lightening somewhere, it would weigh at least 500lbs more than the BRZ.

They also improve the mid-turn camber geometry of the suspension, allowing your tires to have a larger contact patch and (therefore) more grip while in a turn. This grip impact is why front and rear sway bars can be used to dial in the amount of understeer or oversteer a car has, to a degree.
