I was going to reply just to tell you that I have bathtub envy, but thankfully the lulz cancelled that out. I’m suddenly so grateful my cats hate my bathtub. One is willing to lie down on the bath mat while I’m in there, sometimes, but mostly he just waits outside the door and cries until I get out.

I wish that was hyperbole. Maybe it’s just my OCD but I had this song stuck in my head for weeks. Like there were nights I couldn’t sleep because my thoughts were a constant stream of UNBREAKABLE, THEY ALIVE DAMMIT, IT’S A MIRACLE. Like my therapist and I had to work on calming strategies because I was so angry about

Not really the worst place, but I was in ROTC in high school and one time during a drill inspection, I must’ve locked my knees or something because I got really sick to my stomach. I was standing there trying not to pass out until the inspection was over, or at least until I got inspected since I was in the last

Yeah, I'm with you. I love dance and I love kids but the one time I tried to watch this show, I was in tears by the end because of flashbacks to my high school drill team instructor. (ROTC, not dance. So there wasn't even a pretense of artistic expression~ just "you have to be the best because anything less than

This kind of thing is exactly why I’m so paranoid about my disability status. Anywhere I have to comment with my full name (like on FB), I avoid even implying that I might ever be capable of getting out of bed or god forbid, spending money on something other than food or shelter. What if the government finds out I

Wait, they had dolls? As someone who loved the Olsen twins and played with Barbies until high school, I’m amazed I didn’t know about this. And I’m afraid if I start googling, it will lead to shameful late night Ebay purchasing.

Hey, to some of us who grew up in the 80’s/90’s, they were THE AWESOMEST. I still remember half the songs from their first two albums (released on glorious cassette tape in ‘92 and ‘93). And their tween-years TV show, Two of a Kind! Where I first fell in love with Christopher Sieber. (I was 16 by then, it’s not quite

You would've loved my high school JROTC program. The boys' varsity drill team was named Black Watch and wore the tartan on their cummerbunds. My team (girls' varsity) was called Queens Guard and we used the Royal Stewart tartan. I still have so damn much of both around my house. And so many mixed feelings about the

I’m the same usually, but this wasn’t as bad as I’d feared, mostly thanks to Drew Carey’s handling of the situation. He was really sweet to her. Although had I been in her shoes, I still would’ve spent the next three hours crying.

I’m not normally a fan of scam artists, but if I’m being totally honest, this resolution would be my best case scenario here. I would stand up and applaud the fraud.

I had that 7th grade science teacher too! One time I memorized and sang Tom Lehrer's Elements song for him and he was SO DELIGHTED.

Apparently did a whole line of "____ Honey" lipsticks once. I missed out at the time though. So excited to hear that one of them still exists!

Does anyone remember last year (I think) when they had that Black Honey collection with the lipstick, gloss, liner, eyeshadow, and nail polish? As a polish addict I was SO EXCITED, thinking it would be a jelly with that same sheer buildable effect as the lipstick, but nope. It was just an opaque oxblood creme. I am

Every time I tried getting typed when I was younger, I'd get a different answer. Summer! No, autumn! No, definitely winter! It wasn't until I hit 30 that I stumbled upon the Soft Summer type which seems to fit me best. Mute the crap out of all the colors before you put them on my body, basically. But grey lipstick

Oooh, I like the swatches I'm finding on Google! And definitely like the price range for NYX.

Oh, and you would know because you’ve experienced it yourself so very many times?

I love Black Honey! My lips have almost no natural color at all, so buildable shades like that are a huge blessing for me. I would kill to find a full coverage lipstick that doesn't make me look like I'm wearing clown makeup, and I'm definitely getting that universally flattering vibe from Liar here. Fingers crossed!

That lip color is gorgeous on you! I have a weird complexion that's too cool for warm tones and too warm for cool tones but I am so hoping I can try that lipstick out and look that good in it too.

I've been really happy with the quality of their polishes! I do wish they were a little bigger for the price, but they're highly pigmented so you don't need a million coats. Most of them I can even get away with a single coat — if I'm careful with the application.

How soon can I move in?
