I don’t think that “rendering the land useless” makes it useless for animals. Even if abandoned it can be useful for other species (plant and animal) to use and flourish, which will in turn help us. We actually produce enough food to feed the entire world though crops alone. It’s just that we feed it to livestock

Don't breed when shelter animals die. Thank you so much for this post!

They're both wanting to prove they are an invasive species, which is a death sentence to them all. Their time could be better spent showing how WE are the most invasive species of them all.

Still, he failed to yield. And if the ducks were on the right, where else was she supposed to pull over at? If you fail to yield, it is your fault. If it had been a human child she would be free. But no, animal-haters will have their way and put animal-lovers in their place.

And he pulled her leg. Makes me wonder if that kid had ever provoked the dog in the past. He clearly hasn't been taught to respect animals.

I disagree. The kid is clearly OK with pulling the cat's leg. I wonder if he ever did something like that to the neighbor's dog. Plus, that dog could have been abused. It's not the dog's fault. It's the owner's.

I am wondering if the boy ever did that to the neighbor's dog to make it attack him. He's clearly ok with doing it to the cat.

Millions of animals are put down in shelters every year - that number including feral cats because they are 'unadoptable.' If killing is the solution, then why hasn't it worked yet? Find out more on AlleyCatAllies.org

Alleycatallies.org has more info and resources on feral cats and how the human population can treat them better. Killing is never the best answer.
