The grace at meals is up to each unit. I'm a Brownie (and soon to be Guide) leader in Winnipeg, and we recently camped with Sparks, Brownies, and Guides and no one did grace at meals.

I did something similar about six months ago. I was washing dishes and almost bifurcated the tip of my thumb when washing the blades of my manual food processor. The sight of blood doesn't bother me, but the fact that slicing my thumb almost in half didn't hurt did. It was about 7pm, and I called my Mom.
