SMOOSHIES to your big lippy face!!! I have a Dane and a soft spot for the big ones!! :)

I love his whiskers!!!

Try fostering for your local animal shelter. It gives dogs the comfort of a home until they're adopted, but doesn't make you tied to one animal. It's a win-win!

Oh man, I'm that same person in public, it annoys the shit out of my cat-person husband. I get all squeaky and baby talk...who's a cute pupper wupper, YOU ARE, yes you are!! He rolls his eyes and walks away until I'm done. :D

D'awwww.....that face! He looks so disappointed in you!! :)

My two loves - Phantom, a 6 year old 127lb Harlequin Great Dane, the first puppy I've ever picked out of a litter in my entire life. And Lola, an 8/9 year old Tibetan Spaniel mix that was thrown out a car window in front of my home, infested with thousands of ticks and heartworms. I love them both to pieces!!! P.S. I

I've been saying for years that I wanted a GPS chip surgically implanted in my now 10 year old son. Surgically implanted so that if he is kidnapped, they can't throw away a phone or the little watch doo dads they sell now. Call me a helicopter parent all you want, it's a scary ass world out there. I want my kid to

We finally kicked our son out of our bed at age 5 (yeah, it went on a little too long) after both of us couldn't get a wink of sleep without a wrestling match. He's received the nickname Ginsu "Body Part"; Ginsu Elbows, Ginsu Knees, Ginsu Foot In My Ass. :/

Sounds like an issue of latex over oil; you've got to sand and prime first to put latex over, or go with oil instead.

Not to be outdone by her (bigger) younger furbrother this is my Lola, a Tibetan Spaniel mix that was thrown out a pickup window in front of my house 7 years ago. Infested with thousands of ticks and full of Stage 4 heart worms, she ended up at the right place. Now I am training her to be a therapy dog for senior

My 6 year old Harlequin Great Dane, Phantom, taking a rest in the grass at our local off leash dog socialization group (because my city is 30 years behind the times and doesn't have a dog park).

You might instead treat him for mites, as this is often the last place they take up residence. Also check his thyroid, if it's low it can cause skin issues.

Put it on a charger on your bedside table before going to bed. Or get one of those alarm clocks that has a charging dock :)

Thank you! He's my first ever puppy (all my other dogs have been rescues) and he's very, very, VERY affectionate. He loves a good canoodle ;)

Phantom says no thank you, he's very picky about his ears being touched ;) I wanted him to become a therapy dog but with his ear issues, along with not liking his paws or tail handled, he wouldn't pass certification. :(

My Harlequin Great Dane Phantom says, helloooo kitteh.

Our pet cockatiel would spread her wings and flap when we said, "I'm an eagle!" She also picked up my mother's smoker's cough and would mimic it to a T.

My husband's insurance is awesome, so my Paragard IUD was only the cost of a co-pay. I got it a month after WLS because one of the side effects of weight loss was a possible increase in "sexy times". I asked my OB to tie my tubes at my 6 week after delivery checkup and she flat out refused, apparently knowing my

Yes, that is true that not all Type 2 Diabetics are overweight. I shouldn't have made that generalization either, but it's the typical comment people make about my nephew's health.

YES! My 11 year old nephew was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes just about 5 years ago, and people will often say, "But he's not FAT???" That's right, you dope, because it's not that kind of Diabetes. I still think the media should be required to differentiate between the two types in every single report!!
