Definitely agree. In other aspects they've dealt with the fact that it is both a great thing these men can be together in public and not hide anymore and that it was still fucked up to be cheating on your wife for 20 years. Except with the kids they didn't really get into it. Also if you were upset with Sol he so

Yeah a big part of the problem is they keep putting her in these dramatic storylines where her reaction is obviously going to be upset and maybe crying. That can be used in moderation but when half of the episodes of the season force her to act like that it's hard not to be frustrated.

Definitely, like they could have really cemented why she meant a lot to everyone on the team and then it would have hit harder and make it more understandable why some characters who we've seen very little interaction with were hit so hard by her death. Having that grave at the beginning of the season, especially with

And the person telling you this was one of your captors for most of the time you knew him, yep definitely creates instant trust.

I don't think they will but if they did then I really wouldn't be able to watch this show anymore and it would finally break me and make it unbearable.

That would have been amazing. Or just after listening to him speak for 10 seconds decide that all he's saying is pointless and just start fighting each other again.

Those aren't the only choices and it's not like Felicity said, oh I wish you decided to not be a part of his life. First off he totally could have told her because how is Samantha supposed to know. Also I think Felicity might have been able to forgive him if he didn't immediately make another huge life decision

Agreed. And I can't decide if it's made even worse by the fact that they then revive Sara and making it even worse and meaningless, but then at least she's not dead. Also makes the continued existence of Malcolm even more egregious.

Well technically she left him in the old timeline because she found out on her own and then confronted him and he pretty much admitted that he never planned on telling her. So pretty much the actual breakup was an extended version of what had previously happened.

Brood excessively and hope the bad guy takes pity.

There was so much promise with the Punisher story and then it became all about the hand and devolved into some weird undefined war I have zero investment in. And in the end they muddled a lot of the points they made about Punisher earlier in the season and sort of ignored some of the nuance they had done with his

And yet for some reason we keep watching hoping in vein that now it will get better.

I was glad at the very least that they didn't push the romance angle too hard. I was so worried they were going to kiss this episode. At least now we never have to see her again because everything involving her up to and including her death was stupid and pointless. Also never got the sense that Oliver was in love

Seriously the question of morality and killing people on this show is in a constant state of flux it's impossible to keep track of what is the ok thing to do at any point. Especially since they seem to have no problem killing the lackeys off but only ponder the morality when it's the big bad. I too was hopeful it was

Seriously the pep talks on both are so worn out. Especially like on the Flash last week where you could see each cast member gearing up to give him a speech. Like no one ever has conversations that aren't "inspiring."

This

And then immediately believed him with his terrible explanation of why he had to.

He's going to be a kind of terrible mayor. Like "yes I'm in the middle of this super important meeting for the city but I just need to run out for an errand super quick," comes back three hours later limping with a black eye and hoping no one notices.

To the day, like when things happen which are exactly what happened in his past, he waits to bring it up till it is precisely 5 years later.

I guess him leaving for the army sort of makes sense, but when the thing he is grappling with is killing someone he loved I feel like going into the middle of a war and killing other people is a pretty terrible way to cope. Also super fucked up with him leaving Lyla and Sara. It seemed like he just sort of decided and
