The entire bit about the redskins was amazing. How it's been at the top of the list since 1994 and how he thought he was really getting traction last year but it's still the same now. Really funny and a good example of how even though sometimes racism gets a lot of media attention, it doesn't mean anything will change

One thing I love in this show, in this episode and Ladies and Gentlemen is that it talks about these larger issues and tries to combat them and engage with them in a direct way without pretending that it can be fixed by the end of the episode or in any simple way. They also both demonstrate that most people who take

Yeah the part where Arnold says he sent an e-vite to his heart to a girl was apparently something Harris did in real life, which makes it so much better and sad.

One thing I love is that this show has a lot that feels like Louie, without it ever feeling like it's trying to imitate it. I think the way it's filmed has a lot to do with that, as well as the grounded world of the show combined with fantasy sequences (more absurd scenes on Louie). It creates a great balance.

The thing I love about their chemistry, is that it works really well but that doesn't mean they never have awkward or uncomfortable moments. obviously more good than bad by far but they aren't perfect and that's ok, not a sign that they are doomed which most other shows would imply. This is shown very well in

The bit about the bar was great anyway and then became even better when it "ruined" Jake's cool entrance.

This show continues to surprise me in different combinations of characters that all work better than you would expect.

Holt was all for the text though, until he realized maybe other people wouldn't feel the same way, instead a four sentence conversation is much more in-depth and considerate.

I love his genuine surprise. At first I was worried how this plot would work and it ended up being my favorite of the episode. Also the two of them are great and didn't go over the top with the crying and still maintained their not so great grasp on emotions and how to deal with them.

Enlisted was one of those ones I wasn't passionate about and seemed like it should be kind of stupid but instead continued to be really charming and enjoyable with a solid cast.

I know it was such a let down to have Matt Walsh to leave so soon. I got so excited to see him and then he was barely in it. Seems like real wasted potential.

Although I did enjoy Boyle's version of ripping Jake a new one "this time I think you're only 99% right". It was mostly smaller moments that were funny while I didn't care much about the actual story. Lost in the woods truly isn't original. Although also have to say Jake's reasoning for why Boyle is fine is also

I'm not sure how I feel about Holmes Sr sticking around for quite so long, but I admit I was very excited to see John Noble especially as I didn't pay attention to his name in the credits.

What about Joan asking Holmes Sr.'s lackey how hard he's ever been hit and the look on his face. Reminded me why I love Joan so much (also Lucy Liu obviously).

Also one of the only times I can say I'm not annoyed with a love triangle. Everyone has a pretty good reason to feel the way they do and it's not just one person not making a decision because it's more complicated than that and the show clearly shows that Jane has so much else going on in her life and that deserves to

To be fair to Michael, since Mateo's birth Jane has made it pretty clear that she wants him around, at the very least as a friend.

She previously said that she was in favor of Rafael. He's Mateo's father and she also said something along the lines of "and have you seen his abs". It was at most a couple episodes ago.

It's very frustrating but also one of the things I love about this show. I'm absolutely team Rafael but I also can't fault Jane from being into Michael cause he is also kind of great. They've evened them out so much to really not make one the clear choice for her (except for the kiss tonight) that it's hard to fault

It looks like we might be getting an edited plan 2 for Petra and the baby.

I think Buffy taught us that would not be a fun experience.
