I knew there was a /s involved when he equated Washington to Columbus. Also the monument that genius up there states is from the 20th century there has been around since 1792.

Actually a shitty thing to do. This monument is 225 years old and either belongs where it is with a plaque that brings more context to the shitty things that Columbus did 600 years ago, or belongs in a museum. But, no sculpture that old should be destroyed.

I hope this guy goes to prison. I have no qualms about removing monuments or statues that are problematic, but we should preserve our history not destroy it. That goes double for pieces of our history that prove our past crimes and hypocrisy.
