I love Matt and Jessica together. She's so snarky about everything (of course she's scornful about others' powers, etc) and I love that he just replies to all of it with dry humor.

I think that was kind of the point. He was crazy - a sociopath who was happy to use others however he pleased.
Nelson v Murdock is my favorite episode of all the Marvel-Netflix series. Awesome stuff all around.
Avocados at Law!
Their casting of villains has been exceptional across all four shows. (I will never look at David Wenham the same again.)
I'm probably in the minority, but I enjoy the slow build. The four main characters don't really know each other yet and still exist within their own spheres. I like the character work being done in the process of slowly navigating them all together.
I really enjoyed the showdown between Luke and Danny - especially the eyeroll Luke gave when Danny just wouldn't. give. up.
"I don't have to catch up on anything involving David Tennant, do I?"
Agreed! I had a lot of fun with the way that all flowed together and the way they're all giving each other the side eye while beating up Alexandra's goons.
I like the pacing. I think doing a slow build toward the eventual team-up gives it a nice flow and wisely centers it on the characters.
Also Colleen effectively turning on and defeating her own mentor.
I kind of feel like it's necessary, though. It helps give weight to Alexandra as a villain right off the bat.
Iron Fist had such bad reviews going in I expected it to be terrible. But once I got to the meat of the the Ward/Harold material, I was honestly like, "I can't believe people hate this show - this storyline is amazing!"
They started attaching "Marvel" to everything once they were bought up by Disney. I'm positive it was a directive to make sure everyone knew all their properties were Marvel and part of a collective universe.
He's louder and has access to a time machine.
Just tune everything out until Ward Meachum comes on screen.
And darn those Marvel Avengers for stepping on the toes of some TV series from 50 years ago. Don't they know that once a name for something has been used once, it can never be used again?
That speech was so cheesy it felt like it walked out of an entirely different show.
Wait, are you saying it's really not that easy to get a job working as a reporter?
The fact that she made Madame Gao cower (a woman we've seen more than hold her own in the past) said a lot.
