I believe the Doctor would call that the Bootstrap Paradox.
I got a good chuckle out of "All's Wells That Ends Wells."
This really has a reverse problem from Dark Phoenix in the X-Men movies.
I tried talking into the soap. Are you saying it's not working?
Me too!
I genuinely think he's the most terrifying villain the show has had.
I don't generally ship them, but him carrying her out of the machine…
It was also genuinely unexpected, and completely altered our perception of Chase as a character.
That's because every time I watch a new episode, somebody's been mailing me handmade soap…
First season benefited from the fact that "Wells" was already an intriguing character, and learning the truth of who he really was just made him even more interesting.
I would love if this show turned Iris evil - it would be a dramatic step up from "emotional support/plot device to motivate Joe/Barry."
STOP MAKING SOAP
When you say "us" do you mean "the other voices inside your head"?
That's just the soap talking.
For a split second I worried they might actually kill Coulson. That finale was almost too much to handle.
Since it didn't happen in the finale, I'm holding out hope he still leaves the Framework.
Just wait till she finds out how complicated health care is.
Now I really hope his soap fetish carries over into the real world.
One thing I appreciate about the mini-arcs is that the finite amount of episodes for each raised the quality of the material. Any of them on their own stretched out over the course of the entire season wouldn't have landed nearly as well.
