I dunno - Danny is obnoxious and naive…but at least he's not boring.

They definitely should've given Punisher and Eletrka their own separate seasons. The Daredevil-Punisher material was great, and it was kind of depressing to see it shepherded over to Karen instead.

*Danny angrily storms into SHIELD headquarters and tries unsuccessfully to take down some Inhumans*

That's one of the most infuriating things about this arc - Iris is being fridged in the future, and already they've made the whole thing about how Barry and Joe are handling it.

Well, of course - he is dating Caitlin, after all.

Maybe Supergirl could become Iris's primary source as well.

And unlike good ol' Iris, she actually figured out that Barry is The Flash.

Upvoted for "damseled out via her death." Just stellar phrasing there.

I've become convinced that the writers of Flash are pathologically incapable of doing well by their female characters.

She and Karen Page should really team up.

The same way Ray can be a Doctor Who nerd who's seen every episode, and travel on a time ship with Rory Rip (and do battle with Captain Jack/Malcolm Merlyn).

Oh, I know. I have such mixed feelings about the Caitlin-as-Killer-Frost story. On one hand, there's how it's hugely indicative of the show's problem with female characters in general. With no explanation whatsoever, Caitlin is the only who whose agency is pretty much entirely removed. She didn't even get a say in

That all sounds great to me!

Or, you know, gone about the Killer Frost plotline in a different way - since she was always kind of destined to become that villain.

I'm excited for Caitlin to become Killer Frost if only because "villainy" is a big step up from "falling in love with/mourning another guy."

Or even more impressively, when you have no income at all - which Kara hasn't for a while now.

If they're still friends while she's evil, that could make for good drama. (It's an old story - especially in comics - but it's still a good one.)

Yeah, I would imagine it's a direct result of moving to the CW. Up the relations-drama quotient for sure; and Supergirl, Flash, and Arrow have all struggled with the non-superhero side of their leads.

Climbing onto a high horse has become James's go-to move since becoming Guardian.

And that freakout she threw…uh, I think now would be a good time to end things.
