I saw a trailer for this at a theatre, and a woman in the audience yelled, “Fuck Johnny Depp!” And it was a morning screening, and it was not a rowdy crowd. It brought me great joy.

He was so bad in that Fantastic Beasts film that my friend actually shrieked with laughter. I can’t believe they went from Colin, who killed it, to him in the last few minutes.

Personal life aside, Johnny Depp’s acting has devolved into a camp parody of itself. What he seems to be nowadays is a Tallulah Bankhead impersonator. (Right down to the drunken slurring).

Yeah did they not see that tape/pics of her face/texts from his friend or manager to Amber recounting the abuse????

UGH!! What a tragic choice. I’ve been holding off to not distract from MeToo, but now I can say how disturbed I was by the video of him intimidating his live-in partner by smashing wine bottles and refusing to look at her or speak to her while she begs him to stop. I was a huge huge Depp fan. That all vanished when I

It’s Lilith fair. And Lilith fair was founded (at least partially) by Sarah McLachlan, who wanted to have a tour that featured women artists like her, because she noticed so many tours were all-men. As far as I can find, Lilith fair was transparent in it’s goals and performers knew what they were signing on to.

Good for her!

Yeah it was F U C K E D up. They said “Were you ever molested by Michael Jackson?” and he said “No, but I was molested by this other guy. Can you arrest him?” and they said “No.”

So they finally found the tape... in a box that contained the investigation records. In literally the first place anyone would think to look for it. But it’s been missing for 24 years? Gosh, it’s almost like they weren’t really looking for it.

It’s no wonder his life was in shambles. I wonder who-all got rich from the payoffs to file those tapes away and forget them.

Not even no one was listening . . . they called him a liar and vilified him in public. Corey at least has thousands of supporters. It breaks my heart that this happens ALL THE TIME to women and men who don’t have the public backing or financial power to continue the fight.

He literally named names to the police and they did nothing! That’s infuriating.

I’m so happy for Corey. To me, he’s like the Rose McGowan of the boy set. He kept crying out, and no one was listening.

Not lifetime in the sense that he could start cashing in now. It just vests after ten years. But he couldn’t tap into it until a certain age. Usually 65 or so but often 55 for cops.

It’s like “support our troops”. They don’t actually care about giving these people good lives but just want to use them as political props to get what they want.

You would think that they would want to publicly stand by someone who had been through that. It’s a terrible way to treat someone who saw things that would give any sane person nightmares

But... I thought blue lives matter.

So this hero, a person that we want all on the force gets terminated because he has PTSD, while other officers who’ve illegally shot people or other things have the backing of everyone and their mother. Where’s his support?

“The facts as we know them have caused me as an administrator to be concerned for the health and safety of the citizens and those passing through the town. Most of that is confidential, so I won’t be able to say anything about that.”

Hopefully he can sue for wrongful termination based on having a disability and collect his pension that was due to him. Sadly this probably means a large chunk of what he gets (if he wins or gets a settlement) will go to his lawyers.
